Overall clean place accompanied by very very kind staff. Double room was modest. The staff did all they can for a fun stay. The food they offered was good, had lots of meals. One of the best views and beautiful garden.

This place deserves more than 4 stars, it has well-maintained rooms and serves freshly prepared breakfast. The location is fabulous central, however the area is not so great...

Views are very limited.

luxury hotel, lovely room, truly enjoyed the bed. staff were welcoming and venue's host was fantastic. also, we could visit the bridge house, it was 15 minutes' drive away. delicious breakfast, a good choice of food and beverages.

Hotel's position easy walk to all places we wanted to see, like the national trust. The room faced the patio. Honesty bar is a very nice plus. That property was in a great location

We enjoyed our stay in haven cottage. One of the dining options, The Apple Pie Cafe, was 5 mins walk away. A best base for exploring Ambleside.
